Warm up this winter with a bowl of this hardy venison chili. You won’t be able to say no to seconds! Submitted by Kristin F.
– 1 lb. ground venison
– 1 medium onion (diced)
– 1 jalapeno (diced)
– 1 15 oz. can Mexican flavored stewed tomatoes
– 1 15 oz. can regular stewed tomatoes
– 1 15 oz. can hot chili beans
– 1 15 oz. can black beans
– 1 can of corn
– 1 pkg dry ranch
– 1 pkg taco seasoning mix
1.) In a tall pot brown ground venison, onions and jalapeno until cooked. Stir in dry ranch and taco seasoning mix until dissolved.
2.) WITHOUT draining anything from the cans, add the rest of the ingredients to the tall pot.
3.) Stir and simmer for 1 hour.
Optional: add avocado, sour cream or cheese as garnish. Serve with tortilla chips as well.
