Venison Soft Steaks

Quick simple delicious


– 1/4 inch thick back strap

– 2 cups of flour

– 1/2 cup season salt

– 2 cups vegetable oil


Mix flour and season salt together. Have your venison in water and lay in the flour mix. This is the key, press very hard and then flip and press. Do this 4 to 5 times per side. This presses the flour mix into the meat. Pan fry in veg oil until golden brown. When the oil cooks, the flour mix cooks up in the center of the meat and makes it melt in your mouth tender.
