Venison Roll Mops


A tasty, crowd pleasing twist on the normal bacon/venison combination… Submitted by Danelle C.

Ingredients

– 1 lb. Venison steaks

– 1 packet dry onion soup mix

– 1 package bacon

– 1 large onion

Directions

Cut steaks into 1 inch strips and tenderize with pounding utensil on both sides.

Sprinkle one side with some soup mix, lay on a half of slice of bacon, and a few slices of onion.

Next, roll the steak up and stick a toothpick through to hold together.

Place into a Crock Pot and repeat with the rest of ingredients.

Cook on med-high for 4-6 hours, or use Nesco and cook for 2 hours at 325 degrees.

Will be perfect for handling with fingers when finished cooking, remove toothpick and enjoy!
