Venison Kraut Bake

Venison steak or brats together with sauerkraut and noodles…


1 large can of Sauerkraut

2 cans Cream of Mushroom Soup

2 cans of Water

1 package Onion Soup Mix

1 package Kluski Noodles

2-4 pounds of Venison Steak or Venison Brats (cut up)


Boil Noodles for 10 minutes –Drain

Wash Sauerkraut and Drain

Cut Venison Steak in strips and brown OR cook brats and cut into slices.

Dissolve Mushroom Soup, Water, and Onion Soup Mix in Frying Pan

Add meat and let cook for 5-8 minutes

Place in casserole in layers — sauerkraut then meat and sauce then noodles, continue layers until casserole dish is filled

Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour

OPTIONAL: Top with buttered bread crumbs before baking
