Venison BBQ

– 3 lbs. of venison meat of any kind cleaned and silver skin removed.

– 1 tsp of sage

– 1/2 tsp of garlic

– 1/2 tsp of black pepper

– 1 can of cola (not diet)

– 1 1/2 cups of BBQ sauce


Clean and remove all of the silver skin from the meat.

Place meat and spices and the can of cola in a Crock Pot and simmer on low for 8-10 hours.

After 8 to 10 hours remove almost all the liquid from the meat and shred the meat.

Add the BBQ sauce and mix well.

Return to Crock Pot and cook from another 30 mins
