Ingredients

‘- 1 package of King’s Hawaiian rolls
– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
– 1 Lb. ground venison
– 1/2 cup chopped onion
– 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
– 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– 12 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled

GLAZE:
– 1 stick of butter, cubed
– 1/8 cup packed brown sugar
– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
– 1 tablespoons Dijon mustard
– 1 tablespoons sesame seeds

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°.

2. Without separating rolls, cut the package of rolls horizontally in half; arrange bottom halves in two greased 13×9 inch baking pans.

3. Sprinkle the rolls with 1 cup cheese. Bake 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

4. In a large skillet, cook venison and onion until brown; drain if needed. Stir in tomatoes, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until combined.

5. Spoon ground venison mixture evenly over rolls. Top with remaining cheese and then the crumbled bacon. Replace tops.

6. For the glaze, in a microwave-safe bowl combine butter, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Microwave, covered, until butter is melted, stirring occasionally.

7. Pour and brush evenly over rolls. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

8.Bake, uncovered, 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and heated through.

9. Grab one before they disappear 😉
