A sauce for the deer hunter with great taste……..
Ingredients
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– 2 minced garlic cloves
– 1/2 cup sweet onion
– 1 seeded & minced jalapeno peppers
– 32 oz ketchup
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 1 cup apple cider vinegar
– 1/2 cup apple sauce
– 1/2 cup honey
– 1 tbsp Worcestershire
– 1 tsp kosher salt
– 1 tsp black pepper
– 1 tsp dried red pepper
– 1 tsp celery seeds
Directions
Cook time 25 Min. Combine all the dry ingredients in a large pan then add the wet. Mix well and bring to a boil, keep stiring. Turn the heat down to medium and let simmer until sauce is thick (12-15Min). Remove form heat and cover. Sauce can be used on grilled meat or pulled deer/boar meats…Enjoy!
