Gman’s Venison

This is recipe good for either Venison Steak or Backstrap… Submitted by Mike G.


– Venison backstrap or steaks

– Salt grass 7 salt

– Lawry’s hot shot

– Tamari low sodium soy

– Olive oil


Season both sides of your steak or backstrap with hot shot & 7 salt.

Put 1 inch of olive oil and a 1/4 inch of tamari soy in a sealable baggie.Shake the oil & tamari until a light brown color and add your seasoned venison.

Marinate at room temperature for about 3-4 hrs.You can grill,broil or pan fry in butter until medium rare.
