Garlic Mushroom Venison

Need a quick and easy dinner recipe, then this is it. This entree will go with most any vegetables to make a well rounded meal. Easily adjustable to accommodate more people. Garlic and pepper can be adjusted for individual tastes.


1-2 lbs cubed Venison

1 package of mushrooms – wild if you got it!

2 cans Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup

Minced garlic

Garlic powder

Garlic salt

Black pepper

Rice or egg noodles


In a frying pan, brown the cubed venison. While cooking add minced garlic, garlic powder, garlic salt, and black pepper to your taste. Before venison has cooked through, add mushrooms allowing for enough time for them to cook. Once venison is cooked through, add the cream of mushroom soup. Reduce heat to low. Allow soup to mix with juices from the venison to make a thick gravy.

Separately, prepare rice or noodles while the venison is cooking.

Serve the venison and mushroom gravy or the rice or noodles.

Total time should be less than 30 minutes.
