While our focus is mainly on whitetails right now, there are occasions where conservation news surfaces and needs to be shared with all outdoor enthusiasts. Below is a video that had been lost in the Idaho Fish and Game Commission archive for over 50 years because of a misfiling. It’s a documentary on trapping and transplanting muskrat, beaver, and martin. Nothing unusual about that, right? Well, you’ll have to see it to believe it, as one of the methods for transplanting beavers includes airplanes and parachutes! Thank goodness we have had abundant improvements in technology since the video was first produced, allowing it to be digitized and enjoyed by new generations of sportsmen and conservationists.
