December is in full swing and that means the temperature isn’t going anywhere but down. In an effort to ensure that every child in Southeastern Wisconsin is properly equipped for winter, Legendary Whitetails donated a large number of coats to Fox6 Coats for Kids coat drive for the second year in a row. This year, individual Legendary employees donated more than 80 coats of all sizes to help get local kids through the cold season.
Legendary team member, Christina Johnson, brought the idea to Legendary leadership last year and it’s something they got behind again in 2018.
“Knowing the constant need for warm coats in the community, we felt motivated and inspired to make a difference right here in our backyard.”
Fox6 Coats for Kids is accepting both coat and financial donations until Sunday, December 9. Even after that date, there are plenty of ways for you to help local kids this winter. Just check out the Salvation Army of Milwaukee County’s website to find out how you can help.
