You never know what you’ll find when you’re out searching for shed antlers, but you certainly don’t expect to find human remains. Two local shed hunters were out searching for antlers in Milwaukee, Wisconsin when they made the unnerving discovery.
According to WISN.com, the two shed hunters came upon the remains in a wooded area near 96th and Allyn Street, behind Arthur A. Fletcher Elementary School on Sunday, February 21st. The site is now under investigation by the medical examiner.
Currently all that’s confirmed is that the human skeletal remains are from an adult and appear to have been there for some time. Authorities will be looking into any missing persons reports in the meantime.
