An odor that can only mean one thing: Deer Camp. After a short flashlight led walk over to the breaker box, a soft golden glow illuminates the knotty pine walls. It’s just like you left it. It’s just like grandpa and his grandpa left it 80 years ago. An old tattered plaid couch sits along one wall, and a line of hand-built rough sawn 2×6 bunks on the other. Curtains, bedsheets, and blankets all outdated and mismatched from formerly serving a life in grandpas actual home. An 8-point rack hangs next to the Old Style beer sign and wooden gun rack. Nothing matches, but no one ever dares to change a thing. One, two, three, four generations of hunters have stories that still hang from the buck pole outside and never grow old. This is where we Celebrate the Hunt.
