I had to bleat 7 or 8 times to get him to stop, and as soon as he did, I let the lead fly. \u00a0I knew I hit him, but I was still nervous. He ran and I watched where he went into the brush.I waited an hour before I got out of the stand. \u00a0I walked to where he was when I shot and found foamy frothy blood and lung tissue. I felt better then. \u00a0I followed the trail and found him about 60 yards from where I shot him. \u00a0He is a buck of a lifetime and I feel truly blessed to have had the chance to take him. My son is still mad at me!!!!! "},{"@context":"http:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"BreadcrumbList","itemListElement":[{"@type":"ListItem","position":1,"item":{"@id":"https:\/\/community.legendarywhitetails.com\/#breadcrumbitem","name":"Legendary Whitetail's Blog"}},{"@type":"ListItem","position":2,"item":{"@id":"https:\/\/community.legendarywhitetails.com\/blog\/texas-triple-beamer\/#breadcrumbitem","name":"Texas Triple Beamer"}}]}]
