Where are you from? Where do you live now?
I was born and raised in Weaverville, NC, just outside of Asheville. I still live there now.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would still choose the mountains of western North Carolina! There are many places I would love to visit, travel and hunt, but the Appalachian mountains are where my heart will always be!
What’s your favorite animal to hunt and/or fish to catch?
My favorite animal to hunt is turkey. I love the fun of calling and chasing a turkey and hearing it call back to you.
What did you dream of becoming when you were a kid?
My deram was always to be a nurse and a hunter. I will graduate this May with my bachelors degree in nursing, so I’ve almost made my dream come true!
What’s an ideal weekend to you?
Camping! Hunting or not, I just love being outdoors and sitting by the lake, rive, and the campfire on a warm summer night.
What’s your favorite sports team?
I’m not too big into sports. I watch big games like national championships and the super bowl, but I will always be a Tennessee softball fan!
What’s your favorite beverage (beer, wine, soda)?
Water! But living in “beer city” means that I do enjoy a good beer sometimes.
What’s your favorite gun/bow?
My favorite gun is my Glock 19 that I use as my carry gun. My favorite bow is my newest, a Diamond Carbon Knockout!
What’s your favorite wild game meal?
It’s pretty simple, but deer tenderloin or backstrap rolled in flour and seasoning, then fried up in a skillet.
Favorite musician?
Dog or cat person? Breed?
Both! I love my cat, Lily, but I want a yellow lab puppy as soon as I graduate from school and have some more time.
What drives you?
Life! No matter what happens, I’ve always thought life should be lived to the fullest and with positivity!
Who is your hero?
My dad! He taught me everything I know about the outdoors and hunting. He is also a firefighter. Another would be my boyfriend. He is a soldier in the US Army and is schedule to deploy this fall.

What’s your favorite day to hunt?
Any day that’s cold enough for animals to move, but warm enough that I don’t freeze to death!
What’s your biggest pet peeve?
Loud chewers!
What’s your favorite piece of Legendary apparel?
The Cottage Escape Flannels! You can never have too many flannels!
